Even harder to find are world-class pâte de verre artists willing to share their knowledge so generously as Ellen and Marc will be doing in this comprehensive class. The five day program will cover clay and wax model making, plaster mold making (both open face and two piece press molds), working with frit and
filling molds, firing schedules and techniques, finishing techniques, and reproduction molds. Each student will make at least two projects: a tile approximately 4" x 4" and a small bowl 4" x 4" x 2". If time permits, the student will make a third project: a small sculpture. The class size is limited to only 6 students. Interested students should register early to ensure a spot.
