Slumping, Draping and Shaping
The second part of our introductory trilogy focuses on adding shape to your glass.
You'll learn about how kilns work, basic firing schedules, and how to program a kiln for the desired results -
including multiple methods for using the heat of the kiln to turn a flat piece of glass into a three dimensional
object.
The primary class projects will be a slumped bowl, a handkerchief vase, and a "drop-out" vessel – all that you design
and create using multiple firings.
