There are many ways to use glass powder, but we're pretty sure you've never used them like what you'll learn in this original Helios class on creating glass that looks like traditional fabrc batik!

Texture plate project examples

You'll learn how to use "cutting" edges, surface tension, and quick firings to work as deliberately or spontaneously as you want. The result will be rich surfaces with both bold and subtle designs and contrast.

In this class you will learn the following:

Students will each create at least four 7 inch (175 mm) panels or plates.

Includes: •  8 hours instruction & work time
•  Glass & supplies to complete class projects
•  Use of necessary tools
•  All kiln firings
•  Unlimited free "studio time" for class projects for six months after class completion

Class Size: 10 students (max)

Prerequisite: Fused Glass for Absolute Beginners (or equivalent)
