Tricks with Transparency

You've read the ebook! Now see the movie take the class.

Get ready to make some fantastic fused glass projects with this new class based on the original Helios ebook of the same name.

Much of what makes glass art so wonderful is the vibrant colors and transparency of the material. The projects in this class will help you master the possibilities of glass layering, color dilution and much more.

You'll create FOUR beautiful and unique fused glass projects - all while learning the concepts behind the techniques so you can continue to invent and discover new methods when working with glass color transparency.

And, to mix things up a bit, one of the four techniques included in the class is NOT covered in the ebook ;-)

This class is ideal for:

  • Beginner through advanced glass fusers who love the color and transpranency of glass.
  • Anyone looking for a great class where you will have fun while completing multiple projects.

What we will cover:

Here are some (but not all) of the things you'll learn in "Tricks with Transparency":

  • How to dilute dark, transparent glass to create work with bright, vibrant colors
  • How to use create shaded patterns and designs in transparent glass
  • How to create designs that appear to require impossible glass cutting skills (but don't!)
  • One additional transparency technique not included in the ebook!

Using a combination of demonstration and plenty of hands-on time, you'll complete four finished projects.
