Adventures in Glass Combing

Explore one of the hottest techniques in glass fusing!

Ask anyone who has done it and they will tell you that combing molten glass is one of the most exciting things you can do in fused glass. They will also tell you that the results can be truly remarkable!

In this class you will learn about alternative ways to set up glass for different combing effects, approaches to raking different patterns, review kiln safety, shelf preparation, and more.

You will make four combings as part of this class. Three will occur during scheduled class time and the final combing will take place during additional sessions to be coordinated with students.
