Vessels with Modeling Glass

"Paul's reputation for both innovating and teaching with fused glass is well known. I'm excited to have him developing original classes with Modeling Glass and look forward to seeing what he and his students can create." - Lois Manno, Modeling Glass Inventor

Modeling glass is a new fusing material that allows glass artists to work with glass using techniques that are unlike those used for almost any other medium.

In this class, students will create a glass bowl that invokes traditional pate de verre while requiring significantly less effort. Topics include mixing modeling glass, building the vessel, refining and embellishing the work, and firing the glass without a traditional casting mold.

Students will have the opportunity to make two small bowls. All materials and studio fees are included in the price of the class.
