In this three-day master class taught by world class instructor and inventor, Lois Manno, students will learn how to work with her glass sculpting creation: Modeling Glass. Students will make a hand crafted life-like feather, natural looking and textural tree branches, pendants and painted ornaments. We’ll explore various techniques such as combining Modeling Glass shapes with sheet glass and incorporating painting with enamels over Modeling Glass. For the first time, Lois will teach students how to make jewelry-sized feathers for pins and pendants. We’ll discuss display, mixing tricks, firing schedules, and the nearly limitless ways to work with this exciting product. Lois is the creator of Modeling Glass and has been teaching her workshops across the country, and in Canada and Europe for several years.
