This platter is an expression of the artist’s journey with botanicals and the powder wafer technique. This technique, colorful powders and base glass give the subject a dream-like quality with small details reminiscent of pen and ink watercolor. Made with Bullseye glass, powders and vitrigraph.

Britta Haskell is a Texas-based glass artist and practicing lawyer whose work is inspired by the natural beauty of animals and botanicals. Her creations often incorporate complimentary or unexpected colors and elements of humor, resulting in unique and expressive pieces. Britta brings a distinctive perspective to her glasswork, infusing each piece with creativity and joy.
