A year after my residency at the Creative Glass School in Scotland, I created the Portal series. These pieces were inspired by Scotland’s rich colors and alluring landscapes. The Portal series serves to frame a view or thought, yet the texture inside remains intriguingly out of reach.
Artist Statement:
I am driven by a passion to design and the process of creating.
I have always been fascinated by the interplay of light and shapes, textures and details, and the transformation of colors. The challenge of working with glass feeds my curiosity and stirs my emotions allowing me to explore and expand the boundaries of what I can create in this alluring medium
