Making it's way around the world the seas brings life giving food, instills fear and deserves respect. Traveling around the world and touching us all.
This deep slump bowl was made of many pieces of glass, set on edge. During the slump firing the edge was manipulated to create an organic look.
Artist Statement:
I have always been fascinated by glass. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful, yet unforgiving mediums you can work with.
My goal is to create pieces with color, texture and life. I want my work to make people happy and bring people as much excitement and enjoyment from looking at them daily as the planning and creating it brought me.
